Poeta, romancista, pintor, jornalista e fot\u00f3grafo, ministrou aulas em Ar\u00e1bia Saudita e trabalhou como jornalista entre 1978 e 1996. Tem publicados mais de dez livros de poemas, sete romances e duas obras para meninhos*. Entre as obras publicadas s\u00e3o de destaque: <i>Cavalos avistando a cidade<\/i>, 1980; <i>Can\u00e7\u00f5es da alva<\/i>, 1984; <i>O derradeiro di\u00e1logo poucos minutos antes do assassinato do pardal<\/i>, 1984; <i> O meninho rio e o General<\/i>, 1987; <i>A chuva no interior<\/i>, 1989; <i>O bosque verde<\/i>, 1991; <i>o esc\u00e1ndalo da raposa<\/i>, 1993; <i>O livro da Morte e dos Mortos<\/i>, 1998; <i>No nome da m\u00e3e e do filho<\/i>, 1999; <i>Espelhos de anjos<\/i>, 2001. Nos Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos recebeu o pr\u00e9mio liter\u00e1rio Al-Uweis, o mais pre\u00e7ado para poetas de l\u00edngua \u00e1rabe.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"western\"
