O m\u00edtico\u00a0<strong class=\"\">Gran Teatre del Liceu de Barcelona<\/strong>\u00a0conta entre os seus pratos fortes para esta tempada coa \u00f3pera de\u00a0<strong class=\"\">Raquel Garc\u00eda-Tom\u00e1s<\/strong>\u00a0(Premio Nacional de M\u00fasica 2020), na que Pazos asume a direcci\u00f3n de escena. A estrea de \u2018Alexina B.\u2019 no Gran Escenario sup\u00f3n un fito para a historia do Liceu:\u00a0<strong class=\"\">\u00e9 a segunda ocasi\u00f3n que o teatro estrea unha \u00f3pera composta por unha muller nos seus 175 anos<\/strong>. A primeira ocasi\u00f3n foi hai case 50 anos, cando no 1974 Matilde Salvador estreou\u00a0<em class=\"\">Vinatea<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Pazos acepta o reto de dirixir na escena o universo sonoro de Garc\u00eda-Tom\u00e1s, con quen xa colaborou en&nbsp;<em class=\"\">Je suis narcissiste&nbsp;<\/em>(finalista dos International Opera Awards), e que, ao igual que nas s\u00faas \u00faltimas montaxes, afronta un traballo no que&nbsp;<strong class=\"\">pon en cuesti\u00f3n os prexu\u00edzos, o heteropatriarcado e o binarismo de sexo e x\u00e9nero<\/strong>. Nesta ocasi\u00f3n, ademais, tam\u00e9n te\u00f1en presenza a violencia das instituci\u00f3ns m\u00e9dica e relixiosa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">\u2018Alexina B.\u2019, cuxo libreto asina Ir\u00e8ne Gayraud, parte das memorias de Ad\u00e9la\u00edde H\u00e9rculine Barbin (tam\u00e9n co\u00f1ecida como Alexina B.) persoa intersexual nada en Francia no 1838, a quen lle atrib\u00faen o sexo feminino ao nacer. Crece nun convento e, co tempo, traballa de institutriz, ocasi\u00f3n na que se namora dunha das s\u00faas compa\u00f1eiras. Por\u00e9n, nunha sociedade na que a aceptaci\u00f3n da diferenza era complicada e a heterosexualidade a norma, Alexina reivind\u00edcase como home: cambia de sexo legal e de identidade para ser Abel Barbin. Mais, incapaz de adaptarse, suic\u00eddase na s\u00faa soidade.<br class=\"\"><br class=\"\">A estrea absoluta de&nbsp;\u2018Alexina B.\u2019, unha produci\u00f3n propia do Liceu, ser\u00e1 o&nbsp;<strong class=\"\">18 de marzo de 2023<\/strong>. Nesta \u00f3pera, Pazos conta cun equipo conformado por profesionais como Max Glaenzel (escenograf\u00eda), Silvia Delagneau (vestiario), Mar\u00eda Cabeza de Vaca (coreograf\u00eda) e Nuno Meira (iluminaci\u00f3n).
